sylfied: (Sup bitches.)
[ She honestly isn't sure what Serph's letter means-- and she knows it's from him, she'd know that symbol anywhere.

She's also not exactly sure she wants to enlist help figuring out what he's trying to tell her, but Serph is just like her: he wouldn't go through the trouble of doing something if it wasn't important.

So Fie squares her shoulders, wraps her scarf around her neck because that is currently the warmest thing she owns in her short shorts, and goes to possibly regret some things. Besides the weather. ]

... Hiro. I need your help.
sylfied: (Even I can have serious faces)
[ Fie's actually expended a lot of energy today looking for Mera, with absolutely no success whatsoever. So finally, she just flops down on her back on the beach, staring at the sky with an unreadable expression.

She's aware that if Mera's been removed, like Raven and Ruby had been, her life's probably not in any danger... but she liked Mera.

And someone she likes disappearing without a trace... sure is an unwelcome pattern in her life. ]
sylfied: (Oh look there go all the fucks I had)
[ Fie sure is just chilling in front of her hut, one arm wrapped around a golden retriever who leans against her as they both stare out in front of them.

She may look completely and casually relaxed, but she did also spend the whole day looking for Mera, so appearances are probably deceiving in this case. ]
sylfied: (Default)
[ ... What a week. She's had that thought pretty much every week, but there's something about this last chain of events that makes Fie feel like she's slowly being chained down with even heavier burdens. Regret. Anger. Grief. Hurt. Confusion.

Still, for all of that, she can also recognize when other people are hurting more. And she thinks it's probably about time that she seeks out one of them for herself this time.

So Fie takes to the beach, quietly clearing her throat once she spots the figure she's been looking for. ]

Bellamy.
sylfied: (... It's been a long life)
[ What a day. More precisely, what a couple of days, and Fie can't really think of a word to describe everything that's happened beyond "bad". But with so many deaths fresh on her mind, it's hardly the time to try and nap everything away. Instead, ice cream in hand, Fie takes to wandering in the off-chance that she'll either find a quiet spot to think or she'll come across someone she doesn't mind seeing.

It's the latter this time, when she spots Hiro, and her quiet sigh is pretty much inaudible as she approaches. ]

Hiro.
sylfied: (Even I can have serious faces)
[ Is she looking for Katara in particular? No, not really. But the oasis sounds nice and quiet, a whole lot of people just died, a lot of them mostly innocent, and Fie isn't the kind of person who can immerse herself in a crowd and find comfort like that... unless that crowd consists of her classmates, and that's not happening. So the oasis seems quiet enough. Except-- ]

... Oh.

[ Hi, Katara. ]
sylfied: (I wanna know what love is-- nope)
[ Ah, the huts. Always a welcome sight after a trial, because really, all Fie wants to do is sleep.

But she'll put those plans on hold for a minute, because Hayner's right there, and she'll have to pass him, and he's not usually one who doesn't try to engage in conversation if they so much as make eye contact.

... So Fie just stands there, hesitant. Maybe if she walks quickly? ]
sylfied: (I can't bring myself to care)
[ What a week. It's a stupidly long week, it feels like, and maybe Fie's dragging a bit as she thinks longingly of crawling into bed-- the same as last week.

But, like last week, something stops her from making a beeline straight there. If she remembers right, Lief's roommate is that loud lady. And that loud lady seemed to have some kind of... fondness? relationship?? with Joshua's roommate.

Hm.

Before she knows it, she's in front of their hut, offering a single knock on the door. ]
sylfied: (Oh look there go all the fucks I had)
[ This is... familiar. If she had to be accurate, it's her earliest memory, walking barefoot and disheveled on top of a scorched and bloodied earth. The stench of bodies was strong here, and so was the smell of smoke, stinging her eyes.

Logically, Fie knows this isn't quite real. But the memory of it combines with the vividness of what's (not) happening around her, and a part of her thinks... Zephyr had found her the first time. Sara had found her the second.

Maybe this is how she finds her family, even if she can't quite hide the haunted look on her face as she wanders and that sure is the ocean she's walking into. ]
sylfied: (Cool story bro)
[ What a lovely sunset. What a slightly weird occurrence of things following it, and for a minute, Fie thinks she's probably imagining Keith running into the ocean.

... Then again, he's still there when she blinks, so she just kind of... cups her hands around her mouth and calls out-- ]

What are you doing?
sylfied: (How did my life lead to this)
[ It sure is a strange evening, but it's not occurring to her that something's very, very wrong just yet-- because that sure is a familiar black cat with a bow cleaning herself on the sand and making muttered remarks on how disgusting this is. ]

Celine...?

[ well, if anyone could make it here, it would be Emma's magical cat, so this doesn't seem too impossible.

Sorry, Akira. ]
sylfied: (Introductions are moe I guess)
[ Something seems... off, but it's not really anything too strange just yet, just thinking she hears familiar voices, only for it to be the sound of the waves. Maybe she's homesick for the Courageous.

But here they are on the beach yet again, except Fie isn't sighing over how this keeps happening with Joshua. Instead, she's looking at him rather... concernedly? ]

I didn't think there were strays around here... someone's pet?
sylfied: (I can't bring myself to care)
[ She wants a nap. She wants a nap so badly.

But despite now having bruised ribs and a sliced shin that's been more or less tended to, Fie can't help but feel a little bad for not having approached Akira sooner. He'd drawn plenty of attention and concern, and she didn't feel like adding on much more when he was likely already overwhelmed... but with the trial and execution both over, she slowly makes her way to his hut and knocks.

There's an apple in one hand, but that's not terribly important right now. ]
sylfied: (Even I can have serious faces)
[ ... She's not really in the best mood, because somehow, trying to stop someone from getting themselves maimed and/or killed had led to a fight, which had led to Fie displaying her abilities more than she'd ever wanted to.

And injuries, she guesses, but that's to be expected. Still, despite knowing that friendship could get you involved in messes like this, she can't exactly forget Lief's reaction and with a very loud inward sigh (at herself)...

Here she is, limping down the beach and pausing when she sees Lief standing and gazing out at the ocean, which a lot of people seem to be doing lately. ]

Hey.
sylfied: (Nani the sequel)
[ Okay. That's it. Fie's about ready for bed after some aimless wandering and still managing to run into people and that's too much socialization for her after spending a good nine hours inside of a place with no food and a bunch of angry/frustrated/frustrating people.

So to the huts it is, except as she heads in that direction, that sure is a familiar set of headphones.

Whatever those are. ]

You're still up.
sylfied: (Default)
[ ... It's not too early to sleep, but after everything that's happened, even Fie's well-aware that sleep is not going to come easily. After everything she's seen for herself, being one of the few who had actually witnessed the precise moment where everything had gone downhill and knowing what would come and knowing now what will come...

Fie walks, with a stride a little more confident than her usual sleepy amble. She does tense a little, spotting someone on the beach gazing out at the ocean, but upon recognition... she simply steps up silently beside him.

Serph probably won't mind, she thinks, but she's prepared to keep walking if he does. ]
sylfied: (I can't bring myself to care)
[ Fie's actually had to socialize or something like it today, and with all the talking she's had to do, she's really only taking a few brief moments outside the huts to ready herself for a night of sleep and hopefully sleeping in.

But before all of that, she's catching a glimpse of a figure getting closer and tilting her head once she recognizes it-- ]

You're not with Nino.

[ Well. She'd known that. ]
sylfied: (That looks easy to blow up)
[ Is she looking for anyone during her beach stroll? No, not really. Fie's fine with being alone.

But she pauses when she spots a familiar figure coming her way, and finally decides to speak up-- because with Nino, ignoring her probably won't work. ]

That wasn't a good idea, earlier.
sylfied: (I forgot terrorism is in this game)
[ Fie's had a long day of finding limbs, turning in limbs, seeing who those limbs belonged to, holding back an idiot, and having to deal with angry people and fussy people.

Honestly, she's ready for a nap, but when she passes by the huts and sees that big happy dog that still looks so big and happy...

She stands there and looks a little wistful. ]
